By FordTruckBuyer.com · Published 2026-10-29
The shot list
- Front, straight on and at a front corner
- Driver side and passenger side, full length
- Rear and inside the bed
- Interior: dash, seat, and floors
- Engine bay
- Odometer
- Any rust or damage, close up
- Frame, if you can reach it safely
- Door tag or data plate, if you're comfortable sharing it
Simple tips
- Daylight beats flash. Overcast days are ideal.
- Hold the phone level, at about headlight height for the outside shots.
- Show the bad along with the good, it saves time later.
- Don't stage it. A truck in a barn can be photographed in the barn.
